Ms. Corey is a dynamic organizational development consultant specializing in the area of human capital talent management including performance management, recruitment, building a great place to work, change management, inclusion programs, employee communications and HR process improvement. She maintains expertise in facilitation, project management, coaching and the use of technology for process improvement.

Her 18 years of HR leadership includes 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and PwC Consulting where she functioned in a variety of human capital roles such as Director in the HR Organizational Design and Program Management Office, HR Generalist Leader for the HR Shared Services Center, Great Place to Work and Diversity Leader for the Enterprise Solutions Center, Director of Experienced Recruiting, and as an HR Manager. In 1996, she moved from Philadelphia, PA to Tampa, FL with PwC. Ms. Corey started her career with Prudential Securities in New York, NY as a Personnel Administrator and progressed to Associate Vice President of HR for the Mutual Fund Management Company.

In addition to her corporate experience, Ms. Corey has owned her own human capital consulting company, called Talent Innovations, LLC, where she spearheaded a variety of organizational development, diversity and human capital process improvement projects for large to medium sized public and private sector organizations such as IBM, Gevity HR, The Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, American Girl and The Minority Business Enterprise Council for the City of Philadelphia. In addition, she provided executive recruitment and coaching services to a wide variety of clients.

Ms. Corey is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Business Management with a minor in Organizational Psychology. She also holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from Rutgers University, NJ. Ms. Corey resides in Lutz, FL with her husband, Scott Shimer, and their six-year old daughter, Stephanie.
